Prof.Manoj B, Ph.D., has his expertise in the synthesis of nanocarbon derivatives like GQDs, Nanodiamond, carbon dots, Nano Onion, graphene oxide and, polymer composite. The research group is working on fluorescent and electrochemical sensing of heavy metal ions in the environment and aqueous media. The primary focus of the group is a cost-effective synthesis of nanocarbon from widely available precursors which is otherwise considered as was5te material or environmental pollutant.
