Leena Honkavuo

Associate Professor

Dr. Leena Honkavuo is born in Finland. She has a PhD in Hospital Administration and Leadership. She earned two Master of Sciences Degrees: the first in Hospital Administration and Leadership and the second in Pedagogics and Didactics, both from Åbo Akademi University in Finland. She studied Nursing Science in University of Oslo in Norway. She is a certified Midwife from Akershus University College in Norway and has a Specialist Nurse Degree in Intensive Care Nursing from Finland. She has a Dental Nurse Degree from Finland as well. Leena Honkavuo har over 20 years working experience from clinical nursing in different University Hospitals in Africa, Europe and Middle East in all the fields she is educated in. Her background includes teaching in University Colleges in different countries in settings in which care and nursing is provided.

Dr. Honkavuo is energetic and motivating educator. Her background includes teaching in University Colleges in different countries in settings, in which care and nursing is provided.
