International journal of Nano Scientific Networks and Nanotechnology (IJNN) is a multidisciplinary, peer reviewed journal which includes all the major fields in nanotechnology and Nano science. Nanoscience and nanotechnology brought up an unprecedented excitement in the scientific and engineering communities, especially the last decade. It is the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale. This covers both current work and concepts that are more advanced.  International journal of Nano Scientific Networks and Nanotechnology   publishes original research papers during a broad area of nanoscience & engineering. IJNN provides an ideal forum for presenting original reports of theoretical and experimental nanoscience and nanotechnology research. Nanotechnology is a gathering of rising innovations in which the structure of matter is controlled at the nanometer scale, the size of little quantities of molecules, to create novel materials and gadgets that have valuable and one of kind properties. IJNN is naturally multidisciplinary, and welcomes submissions across biological, physical, engineering, and computer sciences. Contributions from both academia and industry are equally encouraged. IJNN also publishes innovative techniques and instrumentation for the fabrication, characterization and testing of nano-enabled devices and technologies, as well as advanced modelling and simulation methods.




Nan-Fu Chiu


Dr. Nan-Fu Chiu is a Professor working at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). He received his Master degree in BiomedicalEngineering and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineeringfrom National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2002 and 2008. In addition, Dr. Chiu was a post-doctoral researchfellow at the Graduate Institute of Biomedical Electronics and Bioinformatics (BEBI),National Taiwan University from 2008-2009 and a research visited the National Institutefor Nanotechnology, National Research Council of Canada (NRC-NINT) on Universityof Alberta from 2009-2010.

Dr. Nan-Fu Chiu is currently working aProfessor of the GraduateInstitute of Electro-Optical Science and Technology,National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan.He is also a member of IEEE, SPIE,OSA and Chinese BMES. He was the director of Taiwan Association of Chemical Sensors (ACST) from 2018-2020.The extended research directions include optical biosensing, plasmonics,nanophotonics, organic optoelectronic devices,integrated biosensor design,BioMEMS,system integration, advanced 2D materials and nanofabrication, especially on biomedical optics, electrochemical sensor and optic pressure sensor in vivo or in vitro disc pressure measurement.His major research interests and current funding focus on the design and development of novel Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) devices, including Active-SPR and Graphene based SPR biosensors.The development of real-time whole blood analytic and diagnostic tools to detect abnormalities at early stage of cancer, gynecological diseases and abnormal tissue is a promising technique for future clinical application.

In view of the superior advantages of Taiwan on electro-optical device design and available fabrication resources, this laboratory is dedicated to research and development of biophotonics and biosensors with available facilities and technologies for better and cheaper products. The long-term objective is to promote the quality and quantity of novel medical devices for native medical device industry and thus better health care through operatable medical standards and regulations.
