The Journal of Materials Science publishes reviews, full-length papers, and short Communications recording original research results on, or techniques for studying the relationship between structure, properties, and uses of materials. The subjects are seen from international and interdisciplinary perspectives covering areas including metals, ceramics, glasses, polymers, electrical materials, composite materials, fibers, nanostructured materials, nanocomposites, and biological and biomedical materials. The Journal of Materials Science is now firmly established as the leading source of primary communication for scientists investigating the structure and properties of all engineering materials

The Journals reports principally the achievements of materials science and engineering all over the world, putting the stress on the original research papers, review articles invited by editor, letters, research notes with novelty as well as brief of scientific achievement, covering a broad spectrum of materials science and technology, encompassing:

Fujun Xu

Associate Professor

  • Dr. Fujun Xu, 36 years old, is an associate professor working at the College of Textiles of Donghua university, the senior member of the China Institute of Composite Materials.
  • He received his joint cultivated Ph.D. of Donghua University and North Carolina State University in 2011. During he Ph.D period, he has focus his research on the multifunctional structures based on 3D weaving  textiles structure as well as the energy harvesting structure. After obtaining the Ph.D degree, he worked in Donghua University. He was focus on his research on the multifunctional properties, especially for the sensing, conductivity or E-heating performance, of the textiles and composites based on carbon nanotube fiber. He also does the research on the topic of wood based fiber and Advanced manufacturing of fiber and textile structures.
  • Prof. Xu has more than 60 peer-reviewed papers published in: Acs Appl Mater Inter, Sensor Actuat B-Chem, Energy, Composites Science And Technology, Compos Sci Technol, Composites Part A, Composites Part B ..... and Chinese Journals. He has more than 30 AuthorizedPatents for Intention.
