The Journal also publishes work on the biology of reproduction, and content which provides insight into the physiology and mechanisms of obstetrical and gynecological diseases.

Gynecology “The science of women” is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive system (uterus, vagina, and ovaries). Obstetrics is the medical specialty dealing with the care of all women's reproductive tracts and their children during pregnancy (prenatal period), childbirth and the postnatal period.
