The International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics publishes articles on all aspects of basic and clinical research in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology and related subjects, with emphasis on matters of worldwide interest.An important focus is the diagnosis, treatment, prediction and prevention of obstetrical and gynecological disorders. The Journal also publishes work on the biology of reproduction, and content which provides insight into the physiology and mechanisms of obstetrical and gynecological diseases.

Gynecology “The science of women” is the medical practice dealing with the health of the female reproductive system (uterus, vagina, and ovaries). Obstetrics is the medical specialty dealing with the care of all women's reproductive tracts and their children during pregnancy (prenatal period), childbirth and the postnatal period. Meng Cheng

Attending Doctor

Doctor    Meng  ChengearnedherDoctor’s degree in medicine and a  bachelor’s degree in software engineering. As a clinical doctor, she has been working in the field of obstetrics and gynecology since 2006. She completed her chief-residency in the Second Hospital of West China University of Sichuan University in turn. Now she is an attending clinician. In 2016, she was elected as a young member of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch of the Sichuan Medical Association. She studies as a visiting scholar in the Washington University in Saint Louis in 2017-2018.

Doctor Cheng focuses on the area of female reproductive endocrinology, including postmenopausal osteoporosis, hormone-related cancer, infertility and assisted reproductive technology. The projects and the articles listed below represent her devotion to her research work.
