International Journal of Dental Science and Oral Health is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies in all areas of dentistry, including periodontal diseases, dental implants, oral pathology, as well as oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Healthy teeth, healthy gums are the keys to sustaining good oral health. With good health comes happiness. So oral health plays a major role in maintaining good health at every stage of life. Therefore there is an imminent need for people to take care of their dental health and find themselves in good health. 

Dental Health is essential for healthy living. A state of being teeth pain, oral and throat cancer, Oral Infection, Gum disease, tooth loss, and other diseases and disorders that limit an individual’s capacity in biting, chewing, smiling, speaking.

Dinesh Rao

Pediatric Dentistry

currently professor and head of Pediatric Dentistry at Pacific Dental College and Hospital, Pacific University, Udaipur, India, where he is working since its inception. He has graduated in dentistry from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore and obtained his Master’s degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, India. He has a Ph.D. degree in the field of Pediatric Dentistry from Pacific University, Udaipur, India.  He has published several scientific papers in national as well as international journals.  He has contributed several chapters in different textbooks of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been included in the review boards of various peer-reviewed national and international scientific journals. His Scientific poster was judged as the second best at the 7th biennial conference of Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia held at Manila, Philippines in the year 2010. He also won second prize for his scientific paper presentation, at the 8th biennial conference of Pediatric Dentistry of PDAA held at Bali, Indonesia in 2012. His research interests include dentistry for special children, cardiology and developmental anomalies in children, where he has several review articles to his credit.

He has graduated in dentistry from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore and obtained his Master’s degree in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry from A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, India. He has a  Ph D degree in the field of Pediatric  Dentistry  from Pacific University, Udaipur, India.
