Persefoni Lambrou

Dental Officer

Born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1964, Persefoni studied Dentistry in Thessaloniki Dental School (Aristotle University) (1982-1988).  From 1988-1990 she worked as a private dentist. Since 1990s she works as a government dentist for the Dental Services of the Ministry of Health. From 1998-2001 she studied at the Cyprus International Institute of Management, Nicosia (CIIM) and was awarded  the title “Master in Public Sector Management (MPSM)”. Her project had the title: A plan to improve the provision of secondary dental treatment to children aged 11 and 12. From 2005 until 2009 she studied at the Hellenic Open University, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Health Services Management. Her project had the title: Motivation and job satisfaction among medical and nursing staff in the Nicosia General Hospital. From 2010-2016 she did her PhD degree at Cyprus University of Technology, School of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. Her thesis was “Professional Practice Environment in Cyprus Public Emergency Departments”.
