The Journal of Materials Science publishes reviews, full-length papers, and short Communications recording original research results on, or techniques for studying the relationship between structure, properties, and uses of materials. The subjects are seen from international and interdisciplinary perspectives covering areas including metals, ceramics, glasses, polymers, electrical materials, composite materials, fibers, nanostructured materials, nanocomposites, and biological and biomedical materials. The Journal of Materials Science is now firmly established as the leading source of primary communication for scientists investigating the structure and properties of all engineering materials

The Journals reports principally the achievements of materials science and engineering all over the world, putting the stress on the original research papers, review articles invited by editor, letters, research notes with novelty as well as brief of scientific achievement, covering a broad spectrum of materials science and technology, encompassing:

Anyun Zhang

Professor

Dr. Anyun Zhang is a Director of Molecular Engineering Laboratory and Professor of College of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, Zhejiang University. He received his Ph.D. in Radiochemistry from China Institute of Atomic Energy in 1998, the master's degree in inorganic chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Northwestern University in 1991, and the bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Department of Chemistry, Shaanxi Normal University in 1986. He was a Research Fellow in Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute from 2000 to 2001, and a Chief Scientist in Institute of Research and Innovation of Japan from 2001 to 2006. More than 150 articles currently have been published in international journals such as AIChE Journal, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, RSC Chemical Engineering Journal, Separation and Purification Technology, New Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Chromatography A, Journal of Hazardous Materials, and others.

1. Organic synthesis: preparation and characterization of new type calix[n]crown, pill[n]arene, multidentate triazine-   containing ligands.
