The Journal of Materials Science publishes reviews, full-length papers, and short Communications recording original research results on, or techniques for studying the relationship between structure, properties, and uses of materials. The subjects are seen from international and interdisciplinary perspectives covering areas including metals, ceramics, glasses, polymers, electrical materials, composite materials, fibers, nanostructured materials, nanocomposites, and biological and biomedical materials. The Journal of Materials Science is now firmly established as the leading source of primary communication for scientists investigating the structure and properties of all engineering materials

The Journals reports principally the achievements of materials science and engineering all over the world, putting the stress on the original research papers, review articles invited by editor, letters, research notes with novelty as well as brief of scientific achievement, covering a broad spectrum of materials science and technology, encompassing:

Krishanu Roy

Krishanu Roy, is 26 years old and is a full time researcher at University of Auckland, New Zealand, pursuing his PhD, previously worked at Geodata engineering SPA as Geo-technical Tunnel designer. Prior to this he completed his masters from IIT Roorkee, India. His research interests lie in the field of steel-framed structures, including cold-formed steel, roof sections, portal frames and composite construction. Besides he is looking into biochar concrete and weather tightness of cold form steel cladding system. His research is dominated in trying to understand fundamental structural behavior, for which he uses a combination of numerical modelling and full-scale testing. More recently, his research includes cold form steel built up sections also. He has done large scale experiments on cold form steel roof sections under wind load.
